The mangosteen is known as the queen of fruits because of its intensive flavour. The mangosteen has a hard, purple skin and very flavoursome flesh. It is rich in vitamin C, B1, B2, B6, iron and calcium.


Origin Origin

The mangosteen originates from south-east Asia. Our mangosteens come from Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand, enabling us to supply these delicious fruits all year round.


Taste Taste

The mangosteen has a hard, purple skin and very flavoursome flesh. The flesh is white, sweet and juicy. The refreshing, sweet taste is reminiscent of banana or peach.


Use Use

Eat the flesh of the mangosteen out of hand, use it to make jam or eat it with ice cream.


Storage Storage

Mangosteens are best stored in the refrigerator for an optimal flavour.
