Redcurrant Smoothie

This smoothie with redcurrants is a refreshing and healthy start of your day!

Ingredienten:

240 g redcurrants
1 ripe banana
3 tablespoons red currant syrup
240 ml (low-fat) yoghurt
honey or sugar (optional)
ice cubes

Bereiding

  1. Remove the berries from the stem. This is easily done using a fork.
  2. Rinse the currants clean in a sieve with cold running water.
  3. Place the red currants, peeled banana, syrup and yogurt in a blender and blend to a smooth consistency.
  4. Add any sweetener if you feel it’s necessary.
  5. Add the ice cubes, blend and serve.
  6. Garnish the smoothie with some red currants.
